Questions and Answers
Q. Are you multi - destination transfer agents ?
A. No, Ibiza Airport Transfers are based in the Balearic Islands
(of Majorca, Menorca , Ibiza) and fully licensed by the Balearic
Tourism Council. We are full members of AVIBA (Spanish ABTA) .
Important details such as flight delays, change in passenger
numbers, last minute hotel changes and location changes we can
deal with instantly as we are here.
Q. How do we pay for transfers?
Payment by credit card transaction at time of booking transfers
via our highly secure payment system.
Q.Where do we meet our driver in Ibiza Airport?
A. Once you have your luggage you should go to our client reception office in the Arrivals Hall - you will find a map and directions on your confirmation email.
Q. We are staying in a private villa in a secluded location,
is that a problem.
A.No, many of the private villas we transfer passengers to are
in ' out of the way ' locations. However, we do ask for a mobile
telephone number so our transfer control office can confirm departure
details and villa location with you a couple of days before return.
Villa rental companies often will not release addresses and
directions to private villas/ apartments until 2 weeks before
arrival, but it is very important that we receive these details
at least a week before your arrival in Ibiza. Many of the villas
in Ibiza are in places that are difficult to reach and we need
time to check them out to ensure the size of vehicle you need
can actually get to your holiday home. Also, normally you receive
the directions in English and we must translate them for our drivers.
Q. Are there any extra charges not in the quoted transfer
price.
A. All prices quoted are fully inclusive for passengers with
2 pieces of normal luggage each. There may be extra charges for
golf equipment and cycle bags / boxes. Details on request.
Q. What happens if my flight gets delayed.
A. All incoming flights are monitored for any delays to ensure
pre-booked transfer vehicles are always waiting. There is no charge
for delayed flight waiting times.
Q. Can I organise return transfers when in Ibiza.
A.All transfer passengers are provided with contact telephone
numbers to book returns transfers or change return details when
here. However, if you have the return details at time of booking
arrival transfers it is better to reserve return transfers then.
Please do NOT book your return journey directly
with the driver as the correct information does not always reach
the office.
Q. Do I need to confirm my return pre-booked transfer?
A. Although your return booking is in our system, please confirm
the return, at least 24 hours before, to ensure we have all the
correct details. You can do so either by email, fax or telephone.
Q. Are all transfers private or shared with other passengers?
A. Sometimes earlier flight delays mean transfer vehicles can't
get back to the airport in time for passengers arrival.
When this happens and we have transfer passengers arriving on
the same flight and going to the same area, transfer passengers
may have to travel together in a larger vehicle. The main priority
is always getting transfer passengers quickly away to their holiday
location rather than waiting around in airport arrivals.
Q. On my arrival at Ibiza airport will I have to wait for my vehicle?
Although we do our utmost to ensure your vehicle is waiting for you, and usually it is, there could be occasions, due to the size of Ibiza and the transport limitations that it has, especially in the middle of the summer at peak periods, when you may have a short wait.
